Headphone Type
BNplayer works well both through headphones and earphones.
SBNfilter Selection
BNplayer contains 5 SBNfilters. Each SBNfilter has different frequency responce and gives different timbre. Default SBNfilter is "DF14". It is designed to keep headphones original timbre.
SBNfilter Compensation
When do you need to compensate a SBNfilter ? If you hear part of sound near your ear, or sound orientation is blur, try SBNfilter L/R balance compensation. Some tips for SBNfilter compensation - Don't overcompensate. Maximum compensation value would be +/-10dB. - Different headphones need different compensation. Choose your favorite headphones and use them. - Compensation of each frequency is not independent. If you compensate at 2kHz, 1.6kHz and 2.5kHz are also affected and you have to check at these frequencies again.
Listening Condition
What you see influences what you hear. Stand very close to a wall in front of you and listen a music file transformed by the BNeffctor. You feel as if players are on the wall, not beyond the wall. For best listening experience, you need large space in front of you. Keep distance of at least 3m from the wall in front of you.
